Three of the nicest golf courses around that are private and very close to Blythewood are Columbia Country Club, Wildwood Golf Club and The Members Club at Woodcreek. Spring Valley (Northeast Columbia) and Forest Lake Country Club (closer to the city of Columbia in the Forest Acres area) have always been known to offer very good golf.

As far as shopping, the largest outdoor shopping center is The Village at Sandhills, located off of Clemson Rd. in Northeast Columbia. In the past few years we have seen many of the car dealerships move off of I-77 and locate off of exit 24 at the Killian Rd. Exit. So we are seeing major infrastructure growth going on for this sector of Northeast Columbia.
